Every field has a width. Fields placed next to each other share a row until the row is full, then the next field wraps.
Available widths
| Width | Good for |
|---|---|
| Full | Long answers, messages, addresses |
| 3/4 | A street line next to a short number field |
| 2/3 | A dropdown next to a quantity |
| 1/2 | First and last name, email and phone |
| 1/3 | City, region, postcode |
| 1/4 | Short codes, quantities, dates in a row of four |
Setting a width
- Select a field on the canvas.
- In the settings panel, choose a width under Width.
- The canvas reflows immediately. Drag fields to change which ones share a row.
Common layouts
- 1/2 + 1/2: first name and last name.
- 2/3 + 1/3: service and number of guests.
- 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3: city, region and postcode.
- 3/4 + 1/4: street and house number.
On small screens
Rows stack on narrow screens so every field stays comfortable to fill in on a phone. You do not need separate mobile settings.
Tip: keep related fields on the same row and keep rows short. A form with clear rows feels shorter than the same fields stacked one by one.
